Plečnik made a plan for the king’s residency on the top of the hill, with a view of the lake and island Bled. From the original plan there were build only tree huge columns (meant to bear the residency) and a semicircular way on stone arcades. Today’s building was built between the second world war by Plečnik’s pupil Danilo Furst and rearranged later in Tito’s residency by Plečnik’s pupil Vinko Glanz.
