He put almost 30 years of work into this street. In 1927 he worked on the pavements, planted the promenade and built the Zois Pyramid. In pavement arranging he invented something new - instead of the usual paving, he put prefabricated concrete blocks into the sand.
In the 50s, he arranged a “trench park” in the street behind the Križanke walls which he finished in 1956 with placement of the Anton Aškerc monument.
